Installing a Gold Valve Fork Kit along with RT Hi-Performance Springs at the proper rate is the first option to improving handling on the ST1300. Compression and Rebound Gold Valves eliminate flaws in the stock piston and valving design; providing a plush feel and eliminating chatter over bumps. Fork Option 2: Fork Cap Gold Valve Kit
The ultimate in front fork performance on the Honda ST1300 is the Fork Cap Gold Valve Kit combined with RT Hi-Performance Springs at the recommended rate. Each kit contains Compression and Rebound Gold Valves to provide a smooth, plush feel while also dramatically improving bottoming resistance. By using an improved piston design, Gold Valves allow the suspension to absorb bumps and road chatter.
Non-adjustable stock caps are replaced with machined billet fork caps. Race Tech's caps add easy to access, external compression, rebound, and preload adjustment to quickly fine tune your ST1300's handling.
Shock Option 1: Gold Valve Shock Conversion

The first option improves the stock shock's performance by installing a Gold Valve Conversion Kit along with a proper rate RT Hi-Performance Spring. The more cost effective option includes a Gold Valve to create a plush feel over bumps, with increased bottoming resistance, and a personalized setup.
Shock Option 2: G3-S Custom Series Shock
The second option is a complete G3-S Custom Series Shock. These shocks include an external Rebound Adjuster and come with Gold Valve and Hi-Performance Spring; valved and sprung personalized to the rider. Hydraulic preload adjustment option is available.
