Race Tech BMW F800GS

The BMW F800GS in stock trim is a good bike, it does, however, according to customer feedback, feels too soft and mushy when the bike is ridden aggressively, both on and off road. The first issues is the bike is equipped with a non-rebuildable cartridge that is sealed and can not be modified. The only improvements that can be made is changing the oil weight and spring rate. This improves performance but is still not enough for more aggressive riders. Race Tech is working on a complete cartridge replacement, the G2-R 25mm Cartridge Kit. The kit includes our 25mm G2-R Gold Valve and adds externally adjustable compression and rebound. Another factor contributing to a soft feel is the stock fork spring rate is very light, .44kg. The G2-R 25mm Cartridge kit and stiffer HP Forks Springs will address the issues of the F800GS front end. Now for the rear shock

The rear shock suffers from the same ailments as the forks. It can not be revalved and only oil weight and spring rate can be changed. To handle this we created a whole new shock, the G3-S Custom Series Shock. The G3-S Custom Series Shock come with adjustable rebound and HP shock spring for your riding specifications.
