If you are going to ride a Yamaha XT250 around the Globe, what is the first thing you do? Call Race Tech!

Pat Williams is an Adventure Riding Enthusiast working at Yamaha USA. Recently he had some time off and he put it to good use riding his XT250 around the Globe having the adventure of a lifetime.

Knowing the limitations of the XT250 Stock Suspension Pat called Race Tech to have the Suspension Setup.

Vintage Guy Matt worked up the old school Damping Rod Forks & equipped them with Custom made Springs and Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators so the Forks could use all their travel yet still provide a plush compliant ride.

MX Suspension Genius Rob Brown created Gold Valve Shock Setup that soaked up the bumps while allowing the burly spring required to carry all that gear do its job without beating the rider up.

Pat reports that bike worked very well and he was very pleased with his choice of a small light weight bike when the going got tough over gravel, sand and dirt roads where the typical behemoth Adventure model would overwhelm riders.

Pat is looking forward to continuing his Globe Trekking, watch is blog for future travel adventures.

Thank you Pat for choosing Race Tech!
