The 2014 Golden Aspen Rally held in Ruidoso, New Mexico marks it’s 45th year and Race Tech will again be exhibiting at this event . Taking place in the cool, scenic mountains of South, Central New Mexico at the Mescalero Apache Tribe Resort & Casino Inn of the Mountain Gods. The upscale resort provides an excellent venue for the wide variety of opportunities the event offers its 25,000 attendees; day rides, poker runs, field events, parade, bike shows, live music, CMA services and of course 85,000 square feet of Vendor Expo including our Race Tech display
New for 2014 Rally is the Race Tech 'Golden Aspen Rally Rider Challenge' Hosted by National Top Gun Champion Reno Birt, Race Tech's Sponsored GL1800 Rider.
'Our Riders asked for it and we aim to deliver!' says Patric Pearson Rally Coordinator. On behalf of Race Tech Suspension the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally is offering a 'Top Gun' Style Riding Skills Challenge. The riding course is designed as individual riding skills test and enhancement that are ridden on continuous, timed challenge. The designer of our courses is Reno Birt, the International Assistant Director of Drill Teams/ Top Gun Competition, MSF/Rider Academy Coach and member of the World Champion Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team. Different skill level courses will be provided to accommodate all Riders. We anticipate an Advanced, Expert and Pro level for the courses. Reno believes that anyone who rides their motorcycle to the Rally, has already demonstrated that they are not rookies; that's why we don't have a Novice class.

The Rider Challenge will be taking place Friday September 20th , Saturday he 21st at the Rally, It is open to all riders, young and not-so-young, male and female, scared and fearless and three-wheel riders on Trikes, Spyders, etc. You will have an opportunity to come out and practice on the course prior to competition. Expert tips and techniques will be offered while you practice and we believe we have convinced Reno to demonstrate the proper techniques to pick up a motorcycle at the Rally.
Medals will be awarded in all divisions. So come out and ride this fantastic event; spectators come out and cheer Riders as they show off the riding skills. Reno has never used the same Challenge course twice so it's fair to everyone. We can hardly wait.see you on the course and at the event!
