G3-S MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONSKAWASAKI KLR650 1987-2013These are instructions for mounting the shock to the motorcycle. The shock has been preset for your weight, skill, and riding type. 1. Remove the stock shock absorber according to the procedures outlined in the Kawasaki service manual. 2. With the stock shock absorber removed, feed the G3-S shock through the bottom of the swing arm reservoir first.

3. Install the upper shock bolt and torque to factory specification.

4. Install lower shock bolt and nut. Torque to factory specification. Install remaining linkage bolts and nuts. Torque to factory specification.

5. Using included Allen head bolts attach frame mount bracket to reservoir bracket as shown.

6. The included 10mm Flange bolt and nut will be used to attach the reservoir to the frame.

7. The reservoir bracket mounts to the bottom side of the side panel mounting tab (there is a rubber grommet in this tab). | |
8. Tighten the fastener securing the bracket to the frame tab as shown. Be sure the bracket remains inline with the tab, it may want to spin as you tighten it. Failure to do so could result in the reservoir making contact with the tire or the chain guide causing damage to the shock and the motorcycle.

9. Use a zip tie to secure the reservoir hose to the frame directly behind the passenger peg mounting bracket. Have Fun Go Ride.
