G3-S Mounting Instructions

 Kawasaki Ninja 650R

These are instructions for mounting the shock to the motorcycle. The shock has been preset for your weight, skill, and riding type.  The preset adjustments are listed on your Setup Sheet.

1.    Remove stock Shock Absorber according to your Kawasaki Owners Manual.

2.    Begin installation of G3-S by feeding reservoir behind vent line as shown
 

3.    Place G3-S into mounting position with Hydraulic Line facing down as shown.
 

4.    Reservoir and Line should be routed to left side of motorcycle as shown, reservoir will be mounted to frame rail in the following steps.

 

5.    Install top and bottom Shock Mounting Bolts and torque both fasteners to factory specifications.
 

6.    When mounting shock reservoir to frame rail be sure to allow for proper line clearance. Do not allow Line to be overly tight or interfere with other components on the motorcycle as this can cause damage to the shock or motorcycle

7.    Place included reservoir clamps around the frame rail and reservoir. Slide included rubber pads between reservoir and frame rail. Tighten clamps so that the reservoir will not move under any riding conditions.
