G3-S Mounting Instructions

YAMAHA R-1 2003-2008

These are instructions for mounting the shock to the motorcycle. The shock has been preset for your weight, skill, and riding type. The preset adjustments are listed on your Setup Sheet.

1. Remove the stock shock absorber following the procedure in your Yamaha Service Manual.

2. Replace the stock shock with your Race Tech Shock Absorber.

3. Mount G3-S Shock as shown.

4. Torque upper and lower Shock Bolts to factory specifications.
