G3-S MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

YAMAHA RAPTOR 250 REAR

These are instructions for mounting the shock to the motorcycle. The shock has been preset for your weight, skill, and riding type. The preset adjustments are listed on your Setup Sheet.

1. Remove seat and rear fender assembly.

2. Remove stock shock absorber.

3. Install Race Tech shock absorber with 90° fitting towards the front of the ATV. The hydraulic line should face the right side of ATV. Shock Reservoir mounts to the subframe rail as shown above.

4. Mount the reservoir using the rubber pads and clamps. The mounting clamps should be located as far apart as possible and tightened so that the reservoir cannot move under any riding conditions.

5. Torque shock bolts to factory specifications. Reinstall fender assembly and seat.

The shock is preset for you. Please check the sag before you ride.
